02.5 — DT101

A data physicalisation project at École de Design Nantes Atlantique that transforms abstract datasets into tangible, three-dimensional forms. DT101 explores how physical representation of data can create more intuitive and embodied understanding compared to traditional screen-based visualisation.

The project bridges digital fabrication techniques — including 3D printing and parametric modelling — with information design principles, producing physical artefacts that make complex data accessible through touch, scale, and spatial reasoning.

The full case study with fabrication process, data methodology, and final artefact documentation is being prepared.
