Autoospitazione is a design research thesis exploring whether design can become a lever for more responsible digital consumption. Drawing parallels between the material overconsumption crisis of the 1960s–70s and today's digital overconsumption, it examines radical design movements, the hidden infrastructure of the internet, and contemporary grassroots alternatives — from associative networks to low-tech approaches — asking how we might promote a more ethical, transparent, and sustainable web through design.
